Heralding a success of the previous LGBT Disco’s in Morecambe, we now have another date! Why not pop down !?!? 14th July 2007 - 8pm till late
Al’s Bar, 231-233 Marine Road Central, Morecambe, LA4 4BQ.
The theme this time is going to be S&M. Wear something leather (not just a leather coat 
), get out those whips and handcuffs and get ready to party.
Al’s Bar is located on the Morecambe Promenade, and was recently Re-Opened after a spate of name changes and various changes of ownership.
The Owners want somewhere that is safe for everyone to go, irrespective of their gender, age or Sexual Orientation / Preferences.
Currently, Morecambe only has Al’s Bar as an LGBT Friendly Venue - help keep it alive!
So please, come along and enjoy an evening of Classic & New Pop/Dance Music, as well as all your camp favorites, in safe and friendly surroundings!
So, mark the 14th of July on your Calendar - it should be fun!

On the 25th of July, the manager, Dean (me) left Al’s Bar, after only 24 days working there.
This message is to correct any rumours circulating in reference to me leaving.
I did NOT leave there because of my partner’s health. Yes, everyone knows he is ill, but it played no part in my choice to leave.
I did NOT leave there because I had been offered another job elsewhere. It is only afterwards that I have been offered other jobs.
I DID leave there because of certain attitudes behind the bar, and their decision not to change them. Also, I DID leave there because of a lack of support from the lady that rents the bar.
There were many other reasons for leaving the bar, too many to list here.
Thank You to everyone that supported me in my managerial position at Al’s Bar.
